Many individuals have died with the open violence in Kyrgyzstan which has created about 400,000 refugees and destroyed the budget the nation has kept. The nation’s move toward parliamentary democracy – which has emboldened supporters of overthrown former President Kurmanbek Bakiyev and militants from Uzbekistan – has been at the center of clashes between armed troops and civilian protesters. Kyrgyzstan has been trying to recuperate now that the fighting is stopping. There is no more money available as reported by Reuters.
Everyone around the world donates so Kyrgyzstan can have $ 1.1 billion emergency money
Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan’s capital city, was where a conference was help in which $ 600 million in quick money was donated in 2010, and the rest can be coming in 2011. President Roza Otunbayeva promised to rebuild with the money donated form the World Bank and United Nations. This is a perfect time considering the nation shrunk 5 percent with the violence. Kyrgyzstan needed money and donors will give it to them.
More than $ 1 billion needed to repair buildings and infrastructure
Kyrgystan’s budget now won’t include 13.5 percent of its gross domestic product it would at first have counted on, reports Reuters. Kyrgyzstan’s Finance Minister Chorobek Imashev reports that Bakiyev’s overthrowing caused the deficit to go from $ 269 million to $ 619 million. $ 350 million, reports President Otunbayeva, is required to build settlements in Osh and Jalalabad, when another $ 100 million will be needed for the rest of the economy. $ 50 million is required to help agriculture while $ 180 million is required to fix energy problems. $ 1.1 billion can be needed if we want to help stabilize a nation in chaos.
